There was great excitement at the Children’s and Youth Centre Zeven as MAPA GmbH presented the centre with a donation of €1,700 on Wednesday, 22 July 2026.
The donation was presented by Lara Tipke, HR Specialist at MAPA GmbH, together with apprentice Timon Hink. The ceremonial donation cheque was received by Ulrich Oerding, Director of the Children’s and Youth Centre Zeven, full-time youth worker Jaqueline Mulder, dual-study student Loredana Winter, and the children from the centre, Lea-Sophie M., Finja K., and Angelina K.
Half of the donation was raised by MAPA GmbH during the City of Zeven’s Four-Evening Marches, where the company operated a prize wheel stand. MAPA then matched the amount collected with a donation from its own funds, bringing the total donation to €1,700. The financial support will help fund a city trip for the children and young people attending the Children’s and Youth Centre Zeven. The planned excursion will combine both recreational and cultural activities, giving participants the opportunity to discover new places, share experiences, and take part in a variety of exciting activities together.
